On Friday, November 6, 2009, BI-LO Charities, volunteers, family, and friends joined Habitat for a lunch and dedication celebration to welcome the Thompsons into their new home! Thanks to everyone who made this happen!
Thrivent Build Dedication
November 12, 2009
On November 1, 2009, Habitat celebrated our first dedication of the fall build season! The house was sponsored by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and nine area Lutheran churches. Many were present to welcome the Jones family into their new home, including representatives from Thrivent, the churches that participated in the build, Mayor Pro Tem Lillian Brock Flemming, and quilters from Greenville who presented each member of the family with their own quilt. Thanks to everyone who helped make another family’s dream of owning their own home come true!
Lowe’s Punch List Day
October 28, 2009
Today is the final day of building at the George house, as volunteers from Lowe’s finished up punch list tasks such as installing a mailbox and fixing the shoe molding. The house looks great!

Today, volunteers from Mustang Engineering and the community worked with future Habitat homeowners to fix up another house in the Saluda Bluffs neighborhood. They repaired siding, sanded, cleaned, and painted!
